Google using new high authority sources for Knowledge Graph results

It seems Google is testing new sources for populating their Knowledge Graph results. As outlined in my previous articles, Google ‘s Knowledge Graph is primarily powered by Wikipedia, Wikidata (previously Freebase) and structured data used on web pages.

Recently, however, my colleague Jonathan Lister discovered a Knowledge Graph result that was not generated from Wikipedia or Wikidata and was using a non-Wikipedia description. The Knowledge Graph belongs to Rand Fishkin who is the CEO and Co-Founder of Moz. Fishkin is very well known within the SEO industry. Here is what his Knowledge Graph result looks like.
