Google using new high authority sources for Knowledge Graph results

It seems Google is testing new sources for populating their Knowledge Graph results. As outlined in my previous articles, Google ‘s Knowledge Graph is primarily powered by Wikipedia, Wikidata (previously Freebase) and structured data used on web pages.

Asking The Amazon Echo and Google Home Funny Questions

I decided to put my Amazon Echo and Google Home side by side and ask them both funny questions. The responses are very interesting. Many folks ask the question, which is better the Amazon Echo or Google Home? Facebook Updates its AI for Photo Searches

Recently, Facebook made updates to its AI for photo searches. The automatic alternative text feature was updated to better recognize whats in images and add alternative text to them. Here is a basic breakdown of how the image recognition works.



With this feature if you search for an image, you get results from your friends and pages/groups you currently like. You are also shown public images from pages that have images that match your query.

Google Says Link: Search Operator Doesn't Work Anymore

Recently, Google's John Mueller responded to question from a Twitter user asking what's up with the Link: search operator, saying that this feature no longer works. This is one of the oldest SEO link tools and its kinda sad to see it die off. Google also doesn't list the Link: command on its search operators resource page anymore - https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/2466433

So its best to now use quality link tools such as Majestic and MOZ's Open Site Explorer. The link report in Goog...

Google Removed LinkedIn Profile Links from Knowledge Graphs After Its Stock Plummeted
